Care Quality Commission
At Hampshire Travel Clinic we are registered with the Care Quality Commission. We are required to meet a set of prescribed standards set out in the form of Regulations.
We were inspected in May 2019 (see report) and it was found that there were a number of a Regulations that relate to ongoing training and supervision for matters such as information governance, safeguarding, infection control and fire safety and information governance that were not met and as a result a notice was served requiring that these matters be remedied.
We recognised the importance of these matters and immediately undertook the required training modules and updated our training policy and other related policies to ensure that these were fully covered on an ongoing basis.
Whilst we have been reinspected in August 2019 to ensure that we are now adequately meeting the key requirements of the notice, we are looking forward to our next inspection and the opportunity to demonstrate that we have gone above and beyond the requirements in this area.
